We are Pondok Kreatif Bunga Jabe, an organisation that is located on the island of Kemujan in the Karimunjawa islands of Indonesia. Since September 2018 we have created an educational place for arts, culture, environment, and heritage. Currently we concentrate on the movement #SAVEKARIMUNJAWA against the illegal shrimp farms on our islands. With our movement, we want to prove that Karimunjawa deserves to be a world-class tourist destination, and at the same time that it should once again be a sustainable and habitable place where local people can live and make a living from nature.
